When it comes to buying a home, there are other fees outside of the purchase price that you’ll need to pay once you reach the closing table. Today I’ll give you a quick rundown of these fees and explain how they relate to the transaction.
Once again, I’ve provided timestamps of the video above so you can skip ahead to various sections at your leisure:
0:27—When multiple-situations cause you to pay more
1:36—What you’ll owe to the mortgage company
2:47—Asking the seller to pay your closing costs
3:27—The purpose of mortgage insurance
6:06—The benefits of doing a title search and having title insurance
8:07—Other expenses, including appraisal fees, home inspection fees, etc.

If you’d like to know more about minimizing the extra costs you’ll pay when purchasing a home, give me a call or send me an email and I’d be happy to speak with you.
As always, if you have any other real estate questions, feel free to reach out to me as well. I look forward to hearing from you.
