Meet Paisley—a cancer survivor who got her own playground thanks to the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

As you know, we at Matt O’Neill Real Estate work frequently with the Make-a-Wish Foundation to give back to our community and, today we want to introduce you to Paisley, a Make-a-Wish child from Ridgeville who beat cancer and got her own playground.

Paisley was having a hard time walking due to her cancer treatments and had to go to physical therapy three times a week. She eventually overcame these difficulties—and the cancer itself. When asked, she said her wish was for her own playground to be built.

She was just 3 years old when the Make-a-Wish Foundation got to work on making her dream a reality. As you can see in the video, every day Paisley would sit and watch the builders work (and direct traffic ?). She was pretty excited about the process, and after the playground was done, she got to have a party with all of her friends.

The donations Paisley received through the Make-a-Wish Foundation meant the world to her and her family. Every day, they got to witness Paisley climb the stairs a little better, and so many others have been similarly blessed. Paisley officially rang her bell in August 2019, and she’s grateful for all of the support she received.

If you’d like to help make another child’s wish come true, we invite you to use this link to visit our donation page for the Make-a-Wish Foundation. If you have any real estate-related questions for us, feel free to reach out via phone or email today. We look forward to hearing from you!
